Maybe I could set something up for a bi-weekly sunday GMR meet.

Hey guys, I was one of the 3 BMW's you guys probably saw while turning/going up the entrance to GMR. There was actually a cop going up GMR as well just a few minutes before you came so i wanted to see if everyone made it out ok.

i wanted to roll down my window and tell you guys but most of you were flying up pretty dam fast.

^lol! Yup saw you guys! As soon as the cop rolled by, we saw him hit the brakes. Thought he was going to turn around and follow, but I guess he never did. Thanks for look'n out!

i dont think bi weekly GMR would be a good idea cuz cops are going to catch on and they might always be up there and we cant "cruise" there anymore, i think monthly would be better. its up to everyone tho, im good with anything i live just right there so i have no probs with it.

Just change up the meeting spots...

and um *ahem* cruise at a safe speed. If we don't break the law, they can't do anything to us.

^Nice pics. Sorry I couldn't make it out today. I'd be up for a more regular gathering, but for a road like GMR, I'd be more comfortable if it was kept private or done via PMs.

what did he get pulled over for? Speeding? hitting those curves too fast?

i got pulled over for crossing the double yellow lines for a second because the 2 g's in front of me hit the brakes and i THOUGHT one was tellin us to go around....stupid i know but i shall FIGHT IT!! haha

oh...that's stupid. just tell them you thought your were gonna rear end the guy in front and you went over to the left because it was clear rather than hitting the guy in front.

they'll probably rebut that by saying you were driving to close.

How did the cop see you crossing the double yellow? Was he behind you, around the corner?

I haven't driven this road for quite some time, but use to go really early and would never see cops.
