I can't commit for sure because the car is going to paint (and bumper) on the 21st... I imagine it will be done, but you never know... plus once it's finished at Auto Explosion I need to get it to touch up painter for some other ancillary stuff...

I can start a thread, but I don’t want to look like a buffoon for not showing to an event thread I started... Let’s get a feeler here first - I'm not sure how many are interested after the way the track was run last time - actually I don’t know if I even want to go through that again!

I'll call tomorrow (if I have time) and ask if they intend to run open lanes or groups... If open lanes again, you might as well get there at 3:00 - I got more runs 3:00-5:30 than most people got all day!

Let's hope they get better management. If not, a long BBQ can solve that problem.

All I know is, if they run the same "strategy" as last time, this event will sound less appealing.

90% sure I'll be able to make it.

I'm bringing the 335 to get some runs while it's in stock form. But I really want to get the piggyback already!! I have to wait.

last time, on March 8th - they had open lanes.. So pretty much whomever is in live first goes first... Rather then all the previous times that we've gone we've been in groups. Much more organized and lets us relax for a good while and we know for sure we'll get at least 3 runs.

 

OMG that's plain dumb how they did that. I can only imagine how angry I would be to try to get in line. I haven't been there for a couple years now, but I remember the group thing...I really miss when they had Saturday and Sunday drag days.

 

I only had 1 run!!! lol Though I had to leave early since I couldn't stay past 1:30. Next time for sure though!

Let's just hope they go back to groups again.
