Its kinda like going to Julian, just the ENTIRE trip, is on the side of a mountain where if you dont pay attention, you may go over th edge, and there are a lot of sharp turns and curves.

N4L, I was just saying that its dark, so I know if I roll down Ortega, I wont be going too fast. I want to make it home

They may drive it in a minivan at night, but I Seriously doubt they drive like I do. I'll put it this way...1/8 and 1/4 drags, are just for bragging rights...I preferr twisties to test your REAL driving abilities. If no one is in front of me, I push it to about 80% of the limit on a road I dont know. If I know the road, im closer to 95%. Gotta leave a margin open for any obstacles on a public road.

Bad for twisties as in good YESSS...I just lower the car and get a nice low center of gravity then couple this with Stillen RSBs and Racingline performance enldlinks and now I have a pretty well handling car aside from the fact that it is a FWD. I can hold my own fairly well.

As far as driving Ortega at night...I wouldn't do it personally because theres some construction going on there and you can take a spill off the side of the cliff if your not careful. What we can do is take the twisties up the hill to the lookout which does overlook Lake Elsinore but theres only room for maybe 5-6 cars and it will be pretty tight. The twisties going up there is only about 4-5 miles long and it takes about 15 mins to get there from BW-3.

Theres also a pretty nice lookout overlooking Temecula which is not very far away either and theres room for about 15 cars there.

I also have an update:
I spoke with the public relations director for Z Car Club Inland Valley (www.zcciv.com) and invited them to come as well so we may have a pretty good turnout and some pretty experienced guys in the business. Also if you guys didn't know, they are opening up a Datsun/Nissan Museum here in Murrieta and they are actually opening it on Mr. K's birthday on September 15th, they are going to have a big grand opening and He will actually be present for his 99th Birthday and I will schedule a meet for that date as well in collaboration with them so we can check it out. It is the first ever Datsun/Nissan heritage museum in history so it will be memorable. Check out ZCCIVs August newsletter on page 6 for details. ZCCIV August 2008 Newsletter.

Damn John...you beat me to it lol.

Well Ryan can attest that this place is Da Bomb and I hope a bunch of people show up because this is prolly gonna turn out to be one of those badass meets if it works out right. Get the word out people...the first meet is this Tuesday and theres plenty of parking for over 200 cars if you know what I mean. Did I also mention that Buffalo Wild Wings is open until 2am and Tuesdays is .45 cent traditional wings.

Did I also mention that Ryan will be there haha.
