Yeah. My kit was a proto-type so it didn't fit at all, they had to make it fit and paint it. They only use Dupont paint also.

I just maxed out the rear coilovers and the G looks sweet

Has anyone ever adjusted the rear damper length of the HKS Hipermax [III's]? I tried to shorten the lengths of the rear dampers via the collars but the fact that the strut swivels around almost makes it impossible to loosen the collars up. I even had my brother holding one HKS wrench while I used the other to try to break one of the collars loose

I don't like the fact that my rears are maxed out yet the dampers are still at OEM height.

Oh, and has anyone ever found a method of "raising" the exhaust a little bit? I know its possible if the hangers are modified but I would assume that would require some machining and welding.

The mid-section [canister] is the only part that scrapes. My test pipes and mufflers seem to clear my driveway just fine.

which one couldn't you get loose? that bottom collar is the only one that needs to be loosened the threaded part should twist fairly easy!!!

On another not the lights are coming alone pretty nice i would post teasers but i dont wanna leak out my design untill im 100% done but they look great so far hopefully by the next meet they'll be on!!!

Yeah its the bottom collar that im trying to loosen up. There aren't any threaded portions above the top collar so it was common sense to try to loosen the lower collar up. The fact that the damper swivels around makes it a pain for me to give it a proper force. Maybe the **** needs some WD40

I wonder if when I adjust the rear dampers accordingly, if the car will lower more. I assume it just preloads the springs a little more and doesn't lower it any more (can't go any lower due to driveway ).

That would be weird if they were maxed out from the start.

I think the HKS rear dampers are a little different than others out there.

Here's a large pic of the rear dampers:
