Its more power. And it costs more $$ on gas too But a great way to race someone, fill that biatch up with some 100 octane gas, then switch maps. 00O0O0O0 yeaaa

 

Right now, I'd say that 100 octane gas is about 10-12 per gallon

 

So ur tanks hold roughly 20 gals that's 200-$240 dollas to fill dang... How much hp is that?

$7.25 per gallon for 101 octane at a gas station around here. I've only filled up once for the hell of it. I only plan on using this map at the track just to prevent any knock (especially in hot weather).

Not much. I would say 10 more peak horsepower at most. It just flattens out your torque band and makes the car feel better all around. But it's not like if im running nitrous and makes the car fly or anything like that

Wow, I was going based off what I had seen several years ago. The normal gas prices then was about high $1 - low $2 per gallon for 87 - 91 and 100 octane was $7 and some change. Seems like 100 octane doesn't get affected that much by economy?
