Shane have you done a reset on window motor before?

 

 

I haven't Jonny, didn't even know about "resetting" your window motors...

 

My window is acting retarded.

 

Prob just the motor going out!

 

uh ohz! so whats the signs of a motor going out? like when u first press it, it doesnt come up sometimes?

 

Half the time after I rolled up the window, it goes back down like 3 inches on its own. I'll guess I'll take it in for warranty service.

 

Just not rolling up all the way, or rolling up then rolling back down even though you didn't touch it, not rolling down at all.

 

ooh ok well hopefully i can get new ones before the warranty is up in 2010

Mine is the same, except worse.

Anytime I use the automatic button to close the window, it comes back down about halfway.

The only reason I haven't taken it in for warranty is because im a little busy, semi lazy, and paranoid that they'll fvck up my car since I've seen how a few of them drive [and treat] around in G's; they think they're driving an SUV or something [Miller Infiniti]. Plus, if they have to keep it overnight in case they don't have the parts, there's no way they're going up to their second level.

 

That's where I'm going. I've seen them drive like that. But if they need to order the part, they usually have you come back again when the part is in. From what I've read, the window motor just need to be reset by pressing a button behine the door panel.
