Mike, if/when you can, may you ask Shawn if his 3 dyno's have any differences in calibration or anything else that might skew any previous results?

That's gonna be in my head if I don't dyno in the same previous machine (I have already used two of his dyno's).

I remembered asking him once. But don't recall what he said (though I think he did say they had no differences).

Hey guys, we only have two dynos, not three (we were going to purchase another one earlier this year, but the writing was on the wall economy wise so we held off - but that may be where some of the misconceptions are coming from, we also had a 3rd roller dyno years ago).

Anyways, the two dynos are calibrated within 1% so they're useful for comparison. But if you want an identical comparison on your car, then by all means request the same dyno. We've got space for at least 35 cars to dyno that day, so right now we can accomodate everyone's requests for the same dyno. That will get tougher as things fill up. If you've already signed up (I'll be sending confirmations for those who just did), send me another email requesting which dyno you want (just say big or small). For those yet to register, if you have a preference, include it in your paypal message.

what idiot said there are 3 dynos?

Thanks for the clarification Shawn... I've only been there a few dozen times this year - have no idea what I was thinking when I referenced 3

for those that arent aware of how cheap this dyno day actaully is - here's a post from my350Z were a shop had it's Grand Opening, charging $40 for 2 pulls

Background: I had my ECU reflashed by Technosquare a couple of years ago after my last bolt on mod. Then about a year later I deciede to install Nismo cams. After the cam install my car ran a little rough at idle so my local dealer bumped the idle to 900 rpm. After that the car ran fine for about six months until I started getting random check engine lights for a cylinder misfire. Then about a month ago at a autocross event my check engine light came on several times with a P0300 code (misfire).

Each time I reset my check engine light with my Scanguage it came back on while I was at the autocross. Since the autocross the check engine light hasn't come back on. However, a new local tune shop was having a grand opening last Saturday where you could get two dyno pulls on a dynojet with A/F readings for $40 so I decided to have my car dynoed. Not only did the car not make the horsepower I was expecting given my mods (260 rwhp) it was running very lean under 3,500 rpm and still lean up to about 5,500 rpm. Based on the dyno results I decided I needed to have the ECU reflashed again. Note: Once Technosquare reflashes your computer the first time they will reflash it again for $150.

Now I need to see if I can get it dynoed again for comparison sake. I will post my results once I have it dynoed again.
If you've ever wanted to dyno your car - now the time to do it!!!

This is SUPER LOW PRICE! In fact I have never seen dyno pulls 2/$20.
