Anything other than 13's in my next run will be a disappointment.

I can assure you no local NA VQ would have ran 13s yesterday... Hopefully Dec will be better.

If everything works for u such as 60ft and similar conditions like yesterday, ur car is good for a 13.8x run.
true, 2.1 on previous attempts... no better then 2.2+ yesterday... I know the heat from the headers is killing me (I was trying to control that during staging)... and even though sacrificing low end is inherent of cams, I think I have a few ideas to make it work... I spoke to Shawn today about some things...

Bottom line is if I can launch at 2K-2.5K it's all over. It’s a done deal and anything mid-high 13s will be possible... It'll get there. I know what will make it happen - it's just a matter of getting it done.

A modified stock or higher stall TC will get you there for sure. I launch at 2k. Did you spin alot yesterday?

It’s been suggested before and Shawn even mentioned it today... I'm staying away from TC for now... 2K launch kills me - tried a couple of times for the helluvit - but it ALWAYS cuts power for me... one of the 2 times I tried it I was 2.29 ... I always get better 60' off idle... there are a few things I intend to try... thermal management of the header heat is this fist issue I am addressing... then a couple other ideas to work on launch specific issue.

who knows how to do DA calculation?... I did the basic Drag Racing Correction factor using 1200 ft sea level = ET X .9874

But I haven’t found a calculator that doesn’t require factors that I don’t know - like dew point and and pressure millibars...

you can find out the info you don't know on the wunderland website down to the hr under history since the conditions were constantly changing. Just type in fontana and the date.

i used this one for hp and is fairly accurate (to my hp anyway) give it a try. What is a 5at's drivetrain loss %? I put 20% and my fastest trap was 103.8.

I usually calculate loss on the conservative side 15% (when trying to determine crank hp)

Thanks... I used it - it's hard because the conditions were changing all day - the humidity varied quiet a bit (of course, it was raining on & off)... I used 50% as avg since it varied from 36%-88%

Says my corrected is 13.65 at 103.66

I want uncorrected 13.8x... once I have that I'll be satisfied

come to a sea level track with good conditions and you will be satisfied. I know you guys pain out there.

Have you guys thought about going to the track near Bakersfiels (Famoso I think) I hear it has lower elevation than ACR.

I think its about 650' - this time of year its probably pretty good... but spring through fall it gets hotter than Fontana.

I wish the Terminal Island drag project got off the ground… I guess that fizzled.

When I have some time I’ll get to a better track… lately the car is either in a shop or I’m busy.
