I can't make the 11th and the 4th is too soon, so I vote for the 18th.

White elephant gift exchange
White elephant gift exchange (also known as a Yankee Swap, Barona Gift Exchange, Thieving Secret Santa, Selfish Santa, Nasty Christmas, Dirty Santa, Scrooge's Christmas, Rob Your Neighbor, or Thieving Elves,) is a popular party game usually played during the Christmas season in the United States and Canada. The premise of the game is that each guest contributes one gift to the game, and ultimately each guest walks away with one different gift from the game. The type of gift is sometimes decided ahead of time (e.g., "something less than $10," "a used item from home," "a gag gift," etc.).

There.

those are just "examples." hence the e.g. that looks like it was a generic copied/pasted description.

last year the limit was $25 or $30. forgot. good limit, IMO. it's not fair to everyone if we all bring $25-$30 gifts and someone gets away with bringing a $10 gift.

oic. I thought it'd be $10. haha

I guess $25 or $30 is more logical.

yeah...I vote $25. YOu cant find anything cool for $10
I think think it should be a point to bring a stupid gift. Bring something that everyone would want instead of people feeling like they got stuck with some crap that nobody else will try to steal (Jeopardy)...lol
