What parking lot are we doing for the beach? Are we doing the one right on beach blvd?

 

Yeah. I would just pull into the first State Beach entrance, the one that is right across from Beach Blvd. (location A on the below map). Although, there will probably be more parking down towards the South end of the beach, plus, we will be cruising in from the South, so that may provide us with the best access. Anywhere would work really, I think it will just depend on where we can find a good pit... the pits at the ends of the cul-de-sacs are usually the best, but also the first one to go.

What does everyone else think?


FYI... If you go to satellite view on the map and zoom in you can actually see all of the fire pit locations.

Also, here's a photo of the Huntington State Beach entrance that is at the intersection of Beach Blvd and PCH off Google Earth. The cud-de-sac in the middle of the sand in the middle of the picture has a fire pit at the end of it. There is also a whole line of fire pits to the right of that... You cn see them is you look closely... these run all the way down the beach to the South end.

 

We can pick up most of this stuff at Albertson's right before the cruise, but I do have some plastic utensils and napkins I can bring... I'll also bring a couple of trash bags for clean up... Anyone wan to bring the paper plates?
