Guys:

There is going to be a classic car cruise/meet at downtown HB by the pier plaza tomorrow and Sunday so expect the area to be alittle crowded. I would recommend parking near Hilton like old times just remember to bring $$$ to pay for the parking. Alternative meeting site should be discussed prior because the beach parking lot might get full especially since it's spring break time right now.

No alcoholic drinks allowed on the public beach in HB so don't try to sneak in a cooler or the cops can kick everyone out. Any gathering without permit in a city/state beach can be terminated by police on site if anyone causes any problems or do not cooperate. If there are more than 20 cars, parking officials will approach the group to ensure proper orders are being maintained and that somebody is in charge of the operations and explain the rules for everyone. Loud music, exibition of speed, going over 15mph, having half naked models posting for photos, alcohol... are not allowed. Remember the police officers can terminate the meet at anytime if people don't cooperate so don't cause any trouble. We've hosted HB summer meets the last 4 years without much problem.

Make sure a cruise route is printed and distributed prior to the meet because it's impossible to keep more than 12 cars together on PCH particularly through downtown Laguna Beach and Newport Beach area. If anyone gets lost (dunno how it's possible given it's just PCH north) then use the Hilton hotel at HB as a marker. (you'll pass a overhead bridge right in front of Hyatt hotel, turn left into parking lot after that) Distribue cellphone info for the cruise leader in case the parking lot is full and you guys need to go elsewhere. Emergency meeting area could be on a stretch of paved road 1 block north of PCH on Beach Blvd. in front of Rite Aid. (Beach Blvd. & Atlanta) You'll see it on Google map.

A brand new CVS just opened half block north of Main street in HB if you guys need ice or drinks. Rite Aid is 1 block north of PCH on Beach Blvd. and you guys can get any supplies there. If you want to BBQ keep a car out on PCH Meter because HB beach parking permit does not allow re-entry. (So you can use the car to run to the stores and back)

If you guys need any more info feel free to let me know. I really wish I could go tomorrow but I've to work..... Be safe and have a good time.

Steven

So are you guys cool with this spot?

PCH and Beach Blvd
Once you guys make a left coming from the cruise you turn right
i think it has bigger parking lots. What do you guys think?

Guys, you can't make a left turn into that part of the parking lot from the Beach Blvd. parking entrance. In order to get there you guys need to take the next parking entrance at Huntington Ave. past the overhead bridge, make a left and keep going till you get near Beach Blvd. Where ever you park, park next to the street so people who go late will be able to see the group.

Either way it would be a good idea to send a scout to the site before the convoy arrives, and update the info on this forum with the final meeting location.

All I know is, Magnolia & Beach on PCH is the MOST BUSSIEST and CROWDED area in HB hands down, especially on a Saturday! With my 10 years experience living near by, I get road-rage when I'm around that area still LOL. Only time I had a good time was HB meet, cause we had 100 g/z clogging the streets up. Choose Wisely guys, I say stay toward Warner and Pch more, more from goldenwest and up. Unless there's no bonfire pit there than NVM. Cause I myself never went around that part but I just see it's always empty and open. HBPD is also ftl too lol. But i dont care, let me know what sup guys and I'll roll.

Oh you havent.
Well the Blue box is where the small pits are, the Red box is where all the big ones are and the Green dots are the entrances into the parking lots.
