Yup!! Love that place. The after party was pretty cool. They had set pieces used as decoration for the room like the giant eggs and wild trees and such.

 

my friend went to e3 like in 06. he said its not open to public anymore

 

It's closed to just industry and it's on whack days... tues-thurs. I'll be going on wed. Lotsa great games to look forward too.. can't wait to try Modern Warfare 2, FFXIII, the new psp, god of war 3, uncharted 2, dj hero, etc.

Coming con is in san diego and open to the public. U should definitely go, definitely up your alley.

I think a buddy and I will have to make the trip to comic con. Seems like harmless, over the top fun plus I like comics. I've always wanted to go.
