Yikes that sucks, Denzel. I'm not sure if paypal is liable for his actions, but hope it works out and u get your money back. What's worse is you do a good deed and u get shafted.

Yea paypal might not be but I will get my money back. I don't mind helping out but I've been shafted for much more money before and refuse to let it happen again.
Who is he? Post his username and first and last name here, and then also make a thread under the general socal forum if you have not already...thats messed up but since this was a case of loaning money instead of an actual exchange of goods for cash, might take a while to get things straightened out but keep on them.

People know him here in socal and he's been to more meets than I have. I think he'll honor his commitment but I ono. I don't know him that well. He was a grade younger than me in school
