damn that's dirty haha. maybe i should clean mine too.... BTW, I talked to Tony about intakes. He says pretty much the best intake is the stock one with a clean paper filter. All the other intakes suffer from heatsoak. He also said that the k&n drop in filter that's so common in g's is bad too because it lets a lot of dirt inside the engine.

Oh, and he's giving me a free mrev2 .

Lol my stock intake's buried somewhere in my garage.

Well, free in exchange for my stock lower plenum. I asked him before about gains of an mrev2 on a non-revup cause I was planning on buying a used one from my friend. I guess it's cause I usually go help him with testing and it's about a 90 mile drive for me lol.

After the mrev2, i'll have all the parts from MD that can fit on my car haha.

I'd probably get the sways before coils, if I were you, especially since you're already dropped pretty low. Sways make a really big difference in handling, and it makes the car a lot more fun to drive .

^ 07 & 06 autos were still non-rev motors. Only the 6mt's were Rev-ups.

How much was your friend going sale the Mrev2 when you were going to buy it fab?

Yeah, non rev-up here

Stock endlinks, comes with new bushings.

As far as new parts for the G35 (and other cars), he's making a new system to replace nitrous kits, using methanol and something else (i think hydrogen peroxide?). Which supposedly will give you the same power boost, but be a lot safer on the engine than running nitrous. He's only gonna be making TDX mid resonators only now, no more of the other dual one. And he's releasing the TDX version for the 350z soon.

I asked him if he ever thought about making an intake for our cars. He said he has thought about it in the past, but didn't go forward with it because his idea of an intake system would involve cutting the maf sensor wires to extend them to in front of the radiator. And since he knows that most owners are not gonna be comfortable cutting their maf wires, he never made it. He didn't want to make an intake that's the same as all the other ones out there that lose power over stock.

you thinking about getting that new hydrogen peroxide system? lol.

looks like the resale of my Shockwave Dual just skyrocketed!

Edit:

so with the full TDX resonator you wont have the option to change out the XYZ accessories?
seems odd that he would have "The Ultimate Y Pipe" not being able to be used on his Best Exhaust.

so all piping will be TDX diameter?

Hmm good point, maybe he'll somehow modify it. I'm not too sure on the details about it lol. Nah, I dont think ill be getting that system. Never been a fan of nitrous, i prefer power that's always there and doesnt have to refilled lol. Unless maybe he gives it to me fore free .

BTW Henry, he was selling it to me for $300.

In other news, Penelope found a KBBQ place off of magnolia!

prostitutes are dirty? lol..

hydrogen peroxide sounds nice.. dont they use those as a disinfectant?
seems like a weird idea but will it work exactly the same as nitrous? i mean if its less damaging than the engine does it mean its not pushing the engine to its limits like nitrous? haha weird morning for me sorry guys
