Ha - not at Fontana (it's been the elusive chace)... I dont know oif any NA VQDE that has broke 14 in Fontana... my best was 14.002 But that was before 100 lbs of custom body work and when I had small light OEM brakes...

At least now I have two-piece rotors for the Akebono, they are lighter and I do notice a difference (mostly in steering believe it or not)...

Everything will be dependent on ambient temps that day... hopefully it will be cold and dry!

For anyone worried about a helmet - unless you are FI, you wont need one... if it's your first outing you will probably run low to mid 14s... If you are FI, you probably will break 14 - in that case I have a helmet (and apparently Mark does too) so you can borrow (I prefer if you have a head sock, but if not I have an extra).

BTW, I'm not positive I'm going - so dont "rely" on the helmet - I'll know better closer to the date...

What time are you guys showing up?

I haven't been there for years, so I don't know how crowded does it get. When they first started this a few years ago, it was insanely crowded, and you had to get there around 6 am. Then there were a few times where I just rolled in around 9 am, had no one in line, and pretty much went straight to the drag line.

i plan on showing up early so we can all get in group-1 and maximize the amount of runs we get. will prob be 0630 out on the road in front of the gate. if people wanna come later that's cool too but the majority of us we be there early
