Sold the G

Well as some of you know my car was over at Engine Logics to try and figure out why it was overheating.

Turns out the motor and trans are fried again. My dad called me at 9am this morning to discuss the costs Chris quoted him and said it would be close to 12k to get it running again. He also said someone came by the shop and offered him $7000 for the car as is including the turbo kit. Upon hearing this i told my dad to inform the guy that he needs to **** off and stop looking at my car. We then exhanged a few choice words and i said look the title is in your name, do whatever you want then hung up.

Ive been trying to get ahold of my dad all day to see what was going on but was unable to reach him. I finally called Chris at EL to get some info since im all the way up here in lubbock. He informed me that he bought the car until this "customer" could pick up the car and pay Chris. My dad sold my ****ing car for $7000. Brand new Tein full flex coilovers with EDFC, brand new G-Racer body kit, brand new data systems wing, brand new $3000 MNP paint job. I was outraged to hear this and once again tried to call my dad.

I finally got ahold of my brother who informed me that the title paperwork had already gone through and the car was sold. As it sits now though, the title is being held at a bank because i have a 10k loan against the car that my dad is a co-signer on so i know he didnt forget about it. Either my dad is fixing my car without telling me, or he really did sell it. Either way, ive wanted to kill someone all day and this whole ordeal is causing me a great deal of pain. The other problem is that i had already promised to sell the turbo kit and full fuel system to a good friend of mine for a great deal so that i could have some money to rebuild the car. Now he is being screwed over too.

If the car really is sold, goodluck to whoever bought it and hope that i never meet you in person. You got one hell of a deal and ripped me off. I surely wont forget it if i see you. Im not making threats but just letting people know of my anger for what has happened today and how my own dad screwed me out of nearly $20,000.

I still have yet to reach my dad because he wont answer his phone and neither will my mom.

If your that pissed then take your dad to small claims court for the balance of $13,000.00. If you spent that kind of money and have the reciepts then you have a case.

Will have to be civil court, small claims is for $5000 and under.

Yeah you cant do anything since he had the title. Most you could do it sue in civil court over lost money invested in the car.

So you're pissed at the person who bought your car WHY exactly? Like he/she went out of their way to try and ***** you over? Please.

Your beef is with your dad, not the person who bought your car.

So who paid for all the mods on the car, the turbo kit and repairs? You? You had all this money to do these mods but couldn't actually buy the car? I couldn't imagine putting all this money into a car and then having it sold out from under you.

If you honestly have receipts, you could easily take him to small claims court. And to be honest, it sounds liek your dads and *** for bending you over like that.

Sorry bro.

No im not pissed at the person who bought the car. I just cant believe that someone would even offer that low of a price for the car. I mean thats just beyond lowball and the fact that my dad accepted it.

I got all my money from working and when my grandma passed away. The car, however, was bought by my dad to get rid of the 03 Lancer Evo i had that was a lemon. Thats why he put it in his name, becuase he paid for the majority of the price.

I have reciepts, but i honestly dont have the will to try and sue my dad.

If the engine and transmission were toasted, I would say the car was next to worthless $7000 sounds like a good deal

except he could have parted out all his mods before hand and probably picked up a couple of grand. Hell I would have bought it in a heartbeat for 7K even with the "barney" color and had it shipped here to KY.

i could have had that brand new body kit, brand new tein flex with edfc, brand new data systems wing, and my full turbo system sold for about $10k. i already had a buyer for the TT kit here in houston but he got screwed out of it by this whole ordeal.

yeah and Chris wont tell me who bought it either. sounds pretty shady i know, because he handed my dad an envelope with 7k cash in it.
