Just moved to Austin, currently attending UT. Saw a few Gs out there and wanted to know if any of you G owners ever gather for a meet or chill somewhere?

Also, anyone know a good car wash place? lol

Nah, we don't meet down here, at least not in the 5 months I've been at this forum. If you want to spearhead it, go for it. I'd like to, but I've never been to a meet, so I don't know what goes on. I hope it's more than a bunch of dudes staring at each others' cars making statements like "dude, love your clear corners...I've got the same."

 

YA i know what u mean about the mods. I saw a few G around campus, some with rims, exhuast, blacktails....

Same here! Just like Bo never been to a meet. There are quite a few G's here in Austin. Most meets are either SA, DFW, H-Town which is all far by my standards. I'm from California where everything is close so anything over an hour is hella far for us Californian's...hahhahaha. That would be great if someone spearheads an ALL G35 Austin Meet and Greet. We can hold on a weekend morning..meet at Starbucks on Andersen Lane coz it's got a pretty big parking lot and it will be empty in the morning. It would be nice to see other G's and not just at Infiniti Austin when I go for service..hahahhaha

 

Ya we should meet up.

Anyone know a good place around UT campus area where i can get a good car wash? Car has been sitting outside and collected to much dust...


By the way, I just moved from Houston to Dallas. Now i am in Austin for school

 

I hand wash my G35 myself, don't trust people earning minimum wage to wash my car. Although I have to go to a friend's place to do so since I live in an apartment.

I don't know about any car wash places, but would definitely go to one of those places where you put quarters in. Use their jet stream, wash the car using your own soap and towel, then rinse using their stuff once again.

Nah, I'm too old for school, but I'm a UT alum. I'm 25 and was fortunate enough to find a job to get my @ss back in Austin again. I love it here!

 

Same here...I've never let anyone wash my ride. I do a better job than they do!

 

Well back home i did wash my car myself but i have been so busy that i dont have time to do it myself.

Even if i did wash it myself i dont know where to wash it myself cause i live in the dorms.
