Who's down for hitting S.A. Raceway 02-28?
i'll meet you'll where ever you decide, i just realized i have class that night so i'll be out at UTSA so i'll be on the same side of town as eveyone else. We can meet at the Best Buy at 410 and San Pedro? is that good for everyone, if not any suggestions?
sounds like a plan...not sure what you'll plan on doing but make sure you take care of that extra fuel in the tank by the time we get out there....im getting 107 octane at the track!!!
Damn! I almost have a full tank...guess I'll have to drive it off the next couple days...I am down to meet at Best Buy off of San Pedro...what time are you off from class?
running 107 wont hurt, i've done it before and i used to use it on my motorcycle. but if im racing you i wont need it you have a Z....lol. im gonna do some research and see if i can find more info on running the higher octane. i need my FMU now.
lol...have you run your G before? And if you have what did you run? I think you and Devon will be a really good race...I might be able to give you a good run w/ my superior driving skills ha ha...I do have a trophy from Alamo Dragway from back in the day...

The stock ECU should automatically retard the Timing when it sences the different octane. Most modern cars will do this. I ran race fuel in my STi when it was bone stock and ran a 12.9 Vs. the 13.4 that I was running with out it. Race gas definately makes a difference. Just try to get the pump gas as far out of it as possible. My buddy used to never put more than a 1/4 tank of 93 in his Evo just in case he had to race. He would run to his house and throw some gas in his car. That and the weight loss from runnin on fumes is a big difference. I think fuel is like 6lbs a gallon or something close to that.
