CEL after test pipe install *PICS*

as the S.A. guys know i had a CEL after Devon and I did the test pipe install. You were right about the exhaust leak. I burnt 1/3 of the gaskett due to the leak. After driving all over the city I finally got another gaskett from the Infiniti dealership. I put the new one on, secured eveything down and did a test start. felt around the seal and no leaks but the CEL was still on. I took it Autozone to check the code yesterday and they told me it was the TPS(throttle position sensor). back to today about 20 miles after the new gaskett was on I suppose the ECU re-evaluated and the light turned off. No more rasp and everything is working great!!!! I messed with a mustang cobra tonight...boy was he surprised when he took off and looked back and I was still there!!!!! Thanks Devon for the install

The 02 looked the same, but was not SC. Just DOHC

the spacer and MREV is about an hour to 2 hour install. the test pipes are tougher due to the placement of the bolts and about a 2 hour install on their own.

your stock O2 sensor works fine. im guessing by your screen name you have an 06 so you may need to get 2 pair of Non-Foulers(4 total). 1 pair needs to be drilled out with a 1/2 inch drill bit. If your here in SA than I can do the install as I have done another since doing my own. As long as you have the non-foulers and no exhaust leaks than you shouldn't have a CEL.
