Thumbs down Metro Time - Houston

Well, since gas keeps getting higher and higher, I will start riding those good ol Metro buses. Since I live one mile away from where I work, it will be cheaper for me to ride Metro vs driving my car to the office.

I'm sure some of you are thinking the same way.

how much gas would you actually use if its only a mile away?.......I would rather waste a few extra dollars than wait for a bus and breath in all the passing cars exhaust fumes.IMO..
And like Poptarts said just walk if its that close.......

The deal with my car is the 6 speed. When you have a G with that in it, it's hard trying to make the thing haul butt. Also, my car is about to hit the 14,000 mile mark. My clutch has become very soft and the folks in San Antonio know it since they have driven it. Also, there is always traffic in my area, so, I'm always having to switch the gears. I just wonder how much longer the clutch is going to last.
