NOS Energy Drink is hosting a make up meet for the IFO event that was rained out last October 4th. The make up meet will be on Sunday, November 22nd, 2009 from 11am to 5pm at State Capitol Raceway near Baton Rouge, Louisiana ( www.StateCapitolRaceway.com ).
This meet is NOT a lifestyle event, car show, or drag contest with national points racers. There is no competition for “best paint” or fastest car on the strip. Instead, this is a meet for the local, grass roots Import community to cruise out, see each others’ cars, and socialize in a laid back, safe, controlled atmosphere without having to worry about getting run off by the Police. Attendees can even test their cars on the drag strip any time throughout the meet! For those wanting to make test passes, the track will be fully prepped! Expect to hit some of your best times on this winter day.
There will be a $10 admission fee to help pay for meet expenses (venue rental, security, etc.) but if you have a rain voucher (blue arm band # 49k - 50k) from the Oct. 4th IFO, it will be honored at the front gate for free admission.
