Here is what I need from the ppl in Houston. I dont know if you guys know but I moved out here from LA and now I am looking for a apartment???

Something simple 1 bedroom, bathroom and the price range is 550 and lower, also a decent neighborhood for me and the G to be ok...lol. Also I work off of 610 and 290, I currently live on the east side of town, north shore area. Not looking for my commute to get any longer.

Any help of suggestions would be appreciated???

I am looking online and all. Just wanna know
if you guys might know some places, since
you guys have lived here longer.

There are some apts located by the feeder Beltway 8 and 290. Sorry I don't know the names as i'm not from the Northwest side of town...Hopefully some of the NW guys will chime in....

Try the Jersey Village area when you do a search.

There are some at Louetta and 249 that a friend of mine lived in for awhile. I forgot the name but its actually on Louetta just west of 249.

 

There are some new apartments near Beltway and West rd. I forgot the name of it. I'll get the name next time I drive by. They are nice and have a garage. You can easily get on 290 from there with a 75 cent toll but you have to have EZ-Tag. Not sure on the pricing though.

 

No worries bro just helping a fellow G brother out!! Try this place...Renter's Resource...they can help locate apts for you within your price range, area, etc. I used them a while back. Plus they can also get you good deals whenever you decide to sign your lease.

Well I am still looking, I mean I got places in mind but its a hard decision.

Do I stay on the East part of town and live close to my family I have out here and really only ppl I know, so far or Move closer to work and to some more social places cause there aint crap on the East part of town from what I noticed???....lol.

Well got another month or so to decide till my Taxes come in and then I am out for sure.

 

not trying to be a smart *** but i used aparments.com and you can narrow it down and you can use the address to cross reference with HPD(houston police department) to check the crime rate. oh and the prices you see of course you can haggle.(the azn side of me coming out). The apt person just tell them your interested but if you move in asap what deals do I get.

yeah because if they get you in on that price more $$ for them. A friend told me this but he didnt tell me the average mark up.
