I've been thinking about painting mine also so post pics of how it turns out. Also you have my dream exhaust system.

 

To paint the rims, im going to be filling in any deep curb rashes with bondo to repair them and them sanding the smaller curb rashes down (the previous owner of the car apparently couldn't drive) . Then rather than a regular primer, im going to do 2 coats of plasti dip because it stands up to heat better. Then 3 coats of gunmetal spray paint on top of the plasti dip and then maybe a layer or 2 of clear coat.
And the exhaust i would recommend to everyone it sounds great i love it.

So, i was leaving town today and saw a silver g on the highway. had gunmetal/black stock rims, hks (or replica) exhaust, and a motordyne sticker on the drivers side quarter window. Just curious if hes a member or not???

 

Just painted my diffuser today, matte black. Still saving up for a bunch of new parts, anyone looking to seel an aftermarket exhaust? And also, what other mods or projects is anyone doing soon?

 

just got my spc rear camber arms and tein s-techs in, install coming this week sometime, then its onto the engine bay. Going to tuck some wire harnesses and do the rare jdm cover with some flush mount bolts

It came out pretty nice, but it's ahrd to tell on the blue since usually int's in a shadow, but I'll try to take a good picture and post is up!
