It's pretty hard to gather a bunch of people together on short notice. Robert (theeggman) posts stuff on the forums for the "official" meets for the DFW club. I'm always down for a mini meet if you give me a couple days notice.
OK, I finally got my new G35Driver userid (SKG35C) working. I think Fresh Alloy is a good forum, but the get-together chat part of it is non-existent. I am probably the oldest (48) on this particular thread, but I do like mini-meets. I work in Allen (Micron Technology) and live on NE side of Dallas.
Moog,
I am booked this busy weekend (honey-dos and Super Bowl), but this shouldn't affect what y'all do. HOWEVER, I might suggest that we get together next Saturday night (12FEB) somewhere like:
1) Up in Frisco at Cali Pizza Kitchen @ Stonebriar Mall. Plenty of parking lot room to group some G's. This location should be a little easier to get to for those who live in the mid-cities area.
2) At Dallas Market Hall for Autorama next Friday thru Sunday 11-13FEB); not very import-like, but some nice cars and babes
3) BBQ at Moog's place!!! j/k j/p
4) Any other locales???
Anyway, I would love to get together and see what these punks are drivin'.

Feb 12 sounds good to me. The multi-level parking garage at Stonebriar is GREAT for taking pics when its empty. Might be hard to get an empty area on a Saturday unless we have it at like 8am. I think that would be a good choice too, since it's close to a highway and has several restaurants close by.
