3/8" Motordyne Plenum Spacer ordered!

I got in on the MY350Z.com group buy on the Motordyne 3/8" Plenum Spacer. The GB price was $160 vs the regular proce of $215 so I feel pretty good about the buy! It is supposed to arrive this Friday, so I'm preparing for a Saturday install. Any one in the Houston area want to come for the install? Probably mid Saturday. 10 more HP in just a few more days!

do you plan to dyno your car before and after or are you going to rely on the butt dyno only...expect to see the most gains in the mid-range...good luck.

No dyno necessary. I just spent 1.5 hours reading the spacer thread in the
Technical reviews forum. Whew! The dynos have been done and gains proven.

I live at Austin Parkway and Hwy 6, if you have any problems or questions let me know....although it is a pretty straightforward install.

Got it installed.....All I can say is OMG!!!!! This car rocks!
The power is felt all thru the power band. I especially love the
*** kick in lower rpms, you can really feel it around 2.5K - 3K rpm
At $16/HP, this mod is unquestionably my best mod! Love it!

Excellent. Any affect on MPG?

Has anyone expressed any concerns about the wear and tear of adding more power to the car? I would imagine that the parts were deigned to handle the specified HP not a whole bunch more. I'm thinking about getting it, but have reservations about the extra horsepower affecting long term life.

The engine was designed to take at least what the 350Z puts down. I know the tranny is fine with the added power. This is not like upgrading to FI, where the added power is significant. We are only adding around 10 HP/TQ I am watching my mileage, but with the added growl to my Z tube/Stillen HF/AB combo plus the pick up in torque/HP I seriously doubt and improvement will be seen soon. ( heavy foot factor!).
