November 13 BBQ cruise

It looks to be official. November 13, late morning cruise that ends with a bunch of BBQ hungry G35 350Z? drivers. This is not a long cruise by any means, but it will include some really great twisties. I'm thinking the start point will be somewhere around Katy Mills Mall and will end at the "Swinging Door" in Richmond. The details will be sent to the definite participatants prior to the cruise. No DPS allowed... Post up here if you are definite about attending: Details will be emailed or PM'd to you

I have mapped out what looks to be a pretty great route. Right now it's around 45 miles. Do we want to make it longer? I'm going to drive the route and tweak it for maximum fun. I have Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005, which allows me to create a gif image of the route. Once I drive it a few times, I will finalize the route and make the starting point available to the drivers making the trip. It looks like a really good one with LOTS of turns. No gravel roads....Chris. A copy of the map will be provided at the starting point for those who can't seem to stay with the pack and get lost........"lost boys".

I would really like to join you guys but I am too far away.
Plus I can't allow myself to get a ticket until November 28th (deferred adjudication).
Also too busy preparing the 3rd annual Raging Bull Texas Stampede. The event web site is 95% complete - just one little step left to go before I open it up for registration. Those of you who like the types of drives Cato puts together would prpbably like driving the Stampede. Check out the web site for more details:

John,
I was wondering if you were going to make it. Well....I got a ticket the other day while driving my wife's Maxima (No radar detector). I wasn't paying attention and crept into a school zone doing 37 mph at 3:28 pm. The bastard traffic cop pulled me over two minutes before the school zone speed limit ended. Two lousy minutes. no children, no flashing school zone lights, no school buses, no traffic. So I don't plan on speeding

Here is the end of the drive....The Swinging Door! One of the best BBQ places in Texas. They are famous for their ribs....outstanding and unique! They have a pretty big parking lot...but it IS gravel Chris, so watch out!

You and Chris....... The parking lot can be driven at 2 mph and no gravel will kick up!
