Need Houston Sway Bar Install Help
Need Houston Sway Bar Install Help
I want to install the 350evo rear sway bar on my '04 coupe.
Can anyone here in Houston help me out with the install or recommend a good/cheap place to get it installed?
Thanks.
Jason

I paid the guys at Firestone $90 to install both of my Stillen sway bars. I stood under the vehicle when he did to work and obsered. Best $90 I have ever spent.

If you have the right tools, and you are reasonably mechanically minded, this is a pretty easy thing to do. (2 on a scale of 1-5 where 1 would be changing oil, 5 would be rebuilding a motor)
I would recommend;
- floor jack (the higher you get the car, the easier it is)
- stands or ramps
- good quality (metric) socket set (with some deep sockets) (12, 14, 17mm)
- fixed socket bar (for those tight bolts)
- 8-12" breaker bar, or air tools (necessary for those bolts which are pretty tight)
- torque wrench
Here's a link I used for the install;

If you don't have access to these tools, then I suggest you have them installed.
