IP Coupe in Corpus Christi
IP Coupe in Corpus Christi
Think it's an 04. IP with really well done ghost flames on the nose. Nice tint - not too dark. Wheels were aftermarket but were spinning too fast to get a good look at the type. It was wearing the tell-tale bubble hood and an intercooler was visible in the front.
Was just curious if the driver was a member here. It's the first tricked out G I've seen in Corpus, and one of very few Gs I've seen at all.
I was in my truck or I would have followed it to get more detail.

I'll do my best to get a shot of it.
I was so surprised by it I didn't think to get a cell-shot of it. Even if I had, my cell camera bites and it would've sucked.
being down here on the border with Mexico, the lowrider community is well represented. Some of the paint schemes you see, while not what you might choose yourself, are incredible.
From what I could see, this guy had his done right. They looked wicked - just enough to be visible but not so much as to take away from the overall effect of the car. It looked really sweet.
You don't normally see cars like this in Corpus. A '63 Impala with candy paint, 12" gold spokes and hydraulics, yes. A tricked out G coupe? No way.
:-)

lol Try West Texas. There's a few G coupes, but mine is the only one that looks different from stock on the outside.
Gray/silver ghost flames seem like they'd work well on the IP. And I've been in TX my whole life, so I know what you mean with the lowrider scene. If I ever decide to have a nude portrait of my wife painted on my hood, I know the perfect shop.
