How Cold?

Just wondering how cold it is where everyone lives? Weather.com says it's 33º outside here in north Houston but feels like 24º!! This isn't why I live in SE Texas...I like WARM weather!

Haha, its as cold where you are as it is here (Pawtucket, RI).

Sorry to hear, I guess its worse for you cause you guys aren't ready for it. Remember, cover your head and hands. It'll help retain your body heat.

We have not had a hard freeze here in Houston for some time now. I woke up early this mornong, 2:30 ish, thinking...OMG! I didn't wrap the outside faucets So I got up and went outside. It was still above 32 and water came out of the faucets when I opend them. Wrapped those guys and then had to walk the damn Pomeranian puppy that I woke up. When it freezes here in Houston, big problems arise. My first year of home ownership here resulted in a frozen busted pipe above my bedroom. When it thawed, the ceiling collapsed because of all the water. It flooded the entire house. What a mess...so sometimes I lay awake at night worring....

Man... I hate icey roads. If we get ice here in Houston, I'm just gonna stay home. I have been rear-ended twice in the last 3 months, not gonna happen again!

Tom,

I did the same the other day. I noticed the outside temp was 33 on my way to work at 5:40 am and started freaking out....OMG! My throtle body is gonna FREEZE!!!! Arrived safely, later at lunch time I opened it without having to remove the Ztube. A long flathead screwdriver was able to get to the CCV.
Whew!
