Didn't want to go fast in those fantastic high speed turns.
With my new setup, I can be sooo much more agressive in the twisties. I'm plannin' on adding the GTSpec rear Lateral arm brace as soon as SixFive verifies it clears the coupe mid-pipe on a sedan. My sedan is addicted to the twisties......

Like I said, G's a boat. I want it to be a more straight line car.... I haven't brought up the G in a few posts. I've been talking about the Spyder. So really... however I drove on the Brazos run is null- because what I'm saying now still holds true... on the straight away I did reach the highest speed...

In the hands of capable drivers the G sedan and coupe are pretty impressive. I know at least a couple of Z drivers at the last Stampede who couldn't help but comment how well the Gs handled the Raging Bull. Just ask G35_TX and TexasScout how much fun they have driving their G sedans.
Of course, the G is heavier than the Spyder, but that doesn't mean it will handle worse in curves. It is by no means a heavy car. A BMW M5 is a lot heavier than both cars yet it could outdrive the other two cars in the hands of the right driver. My car - a 240SX, well-known for being a well-handling car - is only 2,700 lbs yet I wouldn't doubt that Cato, G35_TX, and TexasScout could outdrive me in their G sedans on the twisties. Sure, weight makes a big difference in handling, but that is only one critical variable. The Gs are great handling cars and very capable in the hands of experienced drivers.
If you don't enjoy carving through twisties then, of course, that's your prerogative. However, if you do, don't be afraid to enjoy your car in the twisties. Take it easy, do some things to tighten your car's handling, and attend a high performance driving event or two and you will be amazed with how much more fun you will have in your G.
Of course, again, you may just enjoy driving lighter cars i.e. cars less than 3,000 lbs. No problem with that (I prefer lighter cars, too). However, I think calling a G a 'boat' is a mischaracterization. Perhaps you meant you prefer driving lighter cars, which is a totally different statement.
Just my two cents.

The G and the Spyder are different class cars. Last time I checked, this was G35Driver.com, not MyNewSpyder.com......
Bone stock the G35 handles pretty well, add sway bars and considerably better. Add the GTSpec lower tie braces and even better still. I got an email today from Ken, Sales manager at GTSpec, with an offer to test fit the GTSpec four point mid-chassis brace on the Sedan! I'm going for it. It just keeps getting better and better!
