G only meets are alright...DFW has like over 150 "members" in the registered club, but only a small handful ever meet up. i'd say a maximum of 10-12 was the most we've ever had together. We've had "G" only meets for the past couple years already, but I rather go to more diverse meets...there's only so much you can talk about with other G owners, since you're on discussion forums reading the same information.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but didnt you guys invite some WRX's?
I'm all for inviting the Z's, were all the same family, but Subaru....

 

i go back to my previous statement of that it is ok to appreciate other cars and accept them as part of the performance community be it a 350z or some other make.

i understand that u want a G only meet. good luck with that becuase as someone stated it can get quite boring talking about just G's with other g owners. thats what is great about inviting other cars to come along and meet up with us is that it allows you to expand you knowledge of the other vehicles out on the road. you make it seem like the G35 is the best and most important car out there when there are cars that can out perform this car any day of the week stock for stock and cost to cost.

come along on the galveston cruise on june 3rd and come see houston's finest assortment of G's and Z's b/c i know they will be coming too.

for anyone looking to get a ride in a FI G then hit me up at the cruise. im going to pick up the G today and break in my new transmission before i go racing on it.

I have been reading up about this cruz here and on other forums. from the readings is that its not only z and g's, its about the super cars of imports subaru, evo, z, g, etc... to me that is awesome!

Don't even talk about expanding your mind, i been at these so called "open" car meets pretty much ever since the import scene started so don't even tell me that I need to expand my mind. Not everyone is like you and are into that. Sorry if we're true G enthusiasts in here. It doesn't mean that we're arrogant and think the G is the best car. Grow up and quit thinking like a child. I know my G isn't the best, most exotic or fastest car. That's not the point. You obviously need to open your mind and respect other people's opinions. Just because we are tired of going to these meets which mostly are open and have other cars doesn't mean anything. Like i mentioned before, I have nothing against other cars. I just have no interest for them. I've been in the scene long enough. After all this is a G forum, and thats what I am, an enthusiast for the g35. So don't go assuming I'm looking down upon other cars. Understand what you read before you make up some stupid bs about people.

Obviously there's a big age gap with g35 owners. Sounds like the younger age ones are still down with a big crowd of cars. While us older G owners have grown out of that stage and just want to have a decent time with their own kinds. Seems like the only ignorant ones in here are the ones who just don't understand why some people would like a G only meet.

Sorry I'm not down with that fast n furious, rice crap like i see at every damn meet. What's so special about that, if every ****ing meet is the same BS? Bunch of Paul Walker fans in here.

imo it's cool to see other cars at meets even though I haven't been to one for houston because I haven't been home. Hopefully I'll make it to one in July.

 

 

alright well since you are trying to attend a G only meet, then please set one up and see how many people show up.

To help out a**-bat i think it's cool to have a G only meet once in a while and invite others on other meets. The has to be a way to attract other G owners to show up because even at the "G only meets" we don't have that many people, and it gets boring after a while especially since there's no actual driving or "racing" involved
