Its a nissan only drag/show event, should be some wild rides.
Should get much better times in reynolds than commerce from what I'm told.
Unless you got drag slicks, you ain't getting no satistrackion in commerce.
btw, my slicks came in the mail from tirerack today, it took two days, no tax and $20 to ship - damn skippy!

nah that would be me. I was looking forward to coming to the meet, unfortunately they are replacing my transmission at nalley infiniti. Although they did finish everything today, the (now fired) parts guy at performance nissan forgot to ship my complete nismo exhaust so I will not have my car till monday =/ I am wondering if anyone will be going to Atlanta Dragway on March 29th? Hey tonio, how did u get them to replace your tranny? I have had some intermittant griding in 3rd but troncalli says they cant find any problems?

i have an early 03 which i know many have had problems.

any suggestions?

hey man, it is almost impossible for me to get up there on a tuesday anymore. My new company is in Douglasville and i usually work till 6:30 or 7 these days.

Hey atlgfreak, I live in douglasville myself.. if you're serious about riding up there I'll follow.

On the tranny..its funny because I originally went to infiniti of south atlanta and they didn't seem like they were serious about fixing anything on my car, the consensus was "we'll take a look at it" I went to Nalley Infiniti in Marietta the next day and immediately the manager said it is going to need a new transmission and this was just by what I told him! He haden't even looked at it. After checking my car out it wasn't a question as to whether or not the transmission was going to be replaced.

I've heard bad things about troncalli, and honestly my experiences with infiniti of south atlanta haven't been the best. I have an early 03 myself as well (I bought it used) but beware, for a second I thought I'd have to go head to head with infiniti about honoring the warranty, there was a question of whether or not the car had been abused.. it already had 23k miles on it. But if you search the forums around here you'll see that there are more than a few people that have had their transmission replaced. Over all I'd recommend Nalley Infiniti just for the service alone, they have experience w/ modifications and the people know what they are doing.

So is it a plan on the 27th?

I want to do a dahlonega run sometime soon. Have you taken yours up there yet? I put new wheels on mine in dec and am dying to see how they will do.

I live in town but my office is out here on douglas blvd.
I bought mine new, so i dont expect to have too much trouble with infiniti if my tranny goes. I bought mine from toncalli and they are real close to my house. The next time i need something done though i think ill try nalley. I have not been happy with the service people at troncalli.
