Guys

Just want to know hows the place Atlanta in terms of :

1) housing
2) schooling
3) safety
4) weather
5) which places are good to stay like alpharetta etc

I am exploring that place as an option for a job move, never been there so would like to know how everyone feels

 

1-It all depends on where you live. Make sure you know how far you are away from work before finding a place. Most of the places inside the city are going to cost a lil more but at least you dont have to fight traffic and the nightlife is closer. I'm lucky and live inside the city and work outside so I'm always going against traffic going to and home from work.
2-I dont know much about the schooling except they have Mercer here and thats suppose to be a good Phar or Lawyer school or something.
3-Theres always going to be trobule every where you go I think, but as long as you stay away from the southside and downtown, I guess you will feel safer.
4-It snowed this pass winter but other then that, weather is usually great. I havent lived in ATL too long but ppl say its rare for it to snow here. The heat...hmm its kinda like humid hot here
5-Like I said in 1, it all depends on where you work. That area of ATL is really nice, has alot of food places and malls and this and that but just hope U don't work in the city b/c traffic is a b!tch going to and home.
