Atl G/Z Street Team have teamed up to bring you the

Detailing in the Drought Photo Shoot.


The What: This will be a group photo shoot and no matter the amount of participation each of us will pay Chad 5 bux for his services so if there are only 2 of us it'll still be great fun, but hopefully we'll have a great turnout.

The Why: This is a good chance to do something different. You’ll get some group photos and some single shots of your car plus all you have to do is show up with a detailed car and 5 bux. How easy is that?!?!

The Where: Chad and I have a place in mind, but I have not confirmed if we will use it, yet. If you have an idea of a place that would provide a good background and have enough space for upwards of 30 cars please let me know asap. The location will be confirmed by the end of the weekend.

The Who: If you have a G/Z this shoot is for you. If you don’t you can still come out and get some single shots, but the group photos will just be G/Z. Still 5 bux for some shots of your car that you won’t have to post process is a great price. Or if you don’t want photos you could just come out to hand with the crew.

The When: August 2 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. If you want to be apart of the group shot(s) I’d prefer if you arrived anywhere from 30-45 minutes early(5:15 to 5:30). The quicker we can get the groups shots organized and done the more time Chad can spend on the solo shots. If we rain out on 8/2 the make up day will be 8/16 from 6:00pm to 8:30 pm.

The How: Since we only have one photographer, at the moment we are going to limit this to a 30 car max. I have no idea if I’m way overshooting what the interest will be, but it’s best to put a cap on the number of attendees just to avoid being caught off guard since we all are going to want special attn on our single shots.

Ok Location details have been hashed out and hopefully we've found a worry free Parking Deck to have the shoot.

It's a parking deck so I don't have an address, but it's about a 5 minute ride from the downtown Varsity and is a parking deck on the Georgia Tech Campus.

Below will be a standard map GT has and a modified one with an arrow pointing to the deck. To make it easy on folks we can all meet at the V between 5:15 and 5:30 and caravan over at about 5:40. Anyone who can't make it to the caravan can use the maps or just call me.

Directions from the V.....

Make right onto North Avenue ride for about half a mile

Make right onto Cherry Street.

Make Left onto Ferst Drive

Make right into West Campus Parking(W2)

There is another guy in my area with an Aero sedan and it's the only other 04 sedan I seen with an Aero. If I see him again I'll flag him down. I only seen him once so he might not even be around here.
