Anyone in the Charlotte area familiar with removing the door panel to clean the Window Motor? My driver's side window motor randomly goes up/down, and after doing research on the forum I think it may be a carbon build up people are talking about that needs to be cleaned. There is a DIY on the forums on how to do this, but I am bad when it comes to following hands on instructions. If anyone is experienced with getting to the window motor let me know. I will obviously pay as compensation for time and effort

I've taken the panels off of my sedan and coupe before and it really isn't that hard. Just follow the procedure in the service manual or the DIY.
I've taken panels off of other cars that were a nightmare to get back on like my Exploder.
The G's are ez.

I'm on the North side (Huntersville). There are a few used G's up this way. If you need somebody to check them out for you just let me know!
Lake Norman Nissan has one and they are by far the BEST dealership to deal with. They also have a black 370Z in the show room.

I've been reviewing over this thread and there's a fair amount of us in or around Charlotte. That's awesome. I mean, I see plenty of the cars around, but it's cool to see the activity on here.

Anyway, I'm up in Huntersville/Cornelius. It looks like there's a lot of huntersville guys on here. Why don't we set up a local meet one night. And of course it's open to anyone else that would like to attend.

Padow!

Any ideas? I've heard Birkdale thrown around a few times, but parking is tough to find over there so it might not be the best place. Maybe a Saturday or Sunday at Mac's? That's a pretty good place to chill out and have a couple beers and grab some bbq.

What do you guys think?

Quaker Steak is the ****! I like that place. I'm down with that. By the way, do you think we might be better off if someone starts a new thread for the meet? Might get more people to see it that way. I say we just pick a day, and post it up. Let 'em respond attending or not. What da ya think?
