Bithlo June 11th?
I'm gonna be in Orlando the 11th and 12th and was wondering if it's open the 11th. If so, anyone going or want to go? I haven't taken mine on a 1/4 yet. I've only done the 1/8th and it wasn't good at all (ask Wes).

Yes they will be open and running on the 11th. The 12th will be a good day to be there as well, the 8 sec. semi pros will be running that night.

hey, u had the best 6MT run of the night...Todd had to spend $1000 to beat the power of a 5AT [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]
and i was even ahead of him at the 1/8th mark but then that extra 20+hp took over
And to answer...Dennis can be talked into anything involving a G35 and/or beer (those navy men have weak minds) but Im still gonna be out of town but let me know how it goes.

I think the point behind the "smack down" is Wes told me that he would beat me WITH ALL OF MY MODS before we ever ran. He was basing his statement on my previous crappy runs. Little did he realize that sooner or later I'd figure out a "safe" way to launch. Sorry for you not realizing the history behind "THE SMACK DOWN".
And just to keep this on topic... I'll have to OK it w/ the wife before I commit, but is it OK if I bring a friend with an un-modified WRX?

Hey folks, hows it going? Well I'm a new G35 6MT owner, and just looking for some support around my parts of the woods (Miami) ran into this forum. No running hard for me yet, cause I drove that car off the lot with only 9 miles, so far I've racked up 120, only 860 to go! Looking for any information that should be noted for a new driver.
A quick question though, I've been having trouble getting into 2nd gear smoothly, new clutch and all, used to drive an Integra '93 manual, doesn't even come close to how this G35 Drives.. I'm figuring its because its a stronger engine wanting to run, and I'm holding her back. Or maybe I'm just a crappy driver, and need some more time.
Anyhow , just saying "Whats up..", and would be interested in driving up to Orlando, whats this all about?

It will take you a few miles to find the right clutch/shift points.
