For Urangeave ; would be at Salsaritas in a heartbeat this weekend, but must be out of town - thanks
Hope to hammer my fellow Carolina Z Club members into towing their lightweight rides to CIN that day. Bobby Young (CIN Owner) is the one performance shop Owner in Charlotte that shows up at our meetings and ad hoc functions. He is about the G&Zs. He not only asks for our business, he and his crew walk-the-walk. A good place to do business.
Carolina Z Club meetings are 1st Monday evening of next Month - April 6th is next. We meet at Victory Lane Karting (they give us some killer space), basically corner I-77 & I-85. My car will be nasty as have VIR track event that Sat & Sun (but you know, I love cleaning it).
We have members as far as 100m away, and might see them once a year at a monthly meeting, but they make it for events, runs, BBQs, etc. We are not a bunch of **** f#@ks about stuff like that. Pay yer dues (cheap), come when you can. But do try to make the events! Our car show is at Lowes Motor Speedway - Fall AutoFair, and we are the core car club supporting & providing the organizing effort for ZDayZ. We routinely attend and routinely participate in drag events and track days. We have develped a awesome library of driver's roads up and down the Appalachians of the 2 Carolinas, and we go there whenever we can, 1 or 2 or 20 cars. Sometimes hooked with the Lotus club, or the Mustang SVT Cobra bunch or the GT-R club ... whatever/whomever.
You will find stuff on my Track Wench of Japanese Luxury Car at http://www.carolinazclub.com/members.html
Click on "Hobbs, Graham" profile (one of the 2 G35s) - sorry it is not directly linked, but we do this to protect your/our privacy.
It is kinda-sorta to up to date (some of the planned mods have been done), and there is a link to the laser red G35-5AT that got toasted during ZDayZ last year.

Spring Lowes Motor Speedway Auto Fair - Carolina Z Club
For those considering the Carolina Z Club ---- the following is a typical "mini-event" for the club. I will not go, because I MUST be at VIR that weekend driving the everlivinwhizbitch out of the G (sigh... what it was made for & someone has to do it). This following is an excerpt from an e-mail circulating amongst the club members. The spring Lowes Motor Speedway Autofair is a good time as there is all kinds of cars & ladies & stuff to soak up. We do it in a big way in the fall as part of our Carolina Z Club ZJam meet. If this is something you would be interested in after the noted 3/20/09 club member cut off date, PM me with an e-mail address, and I'll forward to the organizer (Mike T) to advise you of an available slot. Or, better yet, join the club and sign up now. Send me that e-mail and I'll take care of getting you hooked up.
April 4th 2009 - SPRING AUTOFAIR
"Mike Jr. just attended the meeting at Lowe’s Motor Speedway last night. We have requested and been given 15 slots for our cars to participate.
We will be participating on April 4th (Saturday) only. Please email me if you would like to join us with your car at the AutoFair on Saturday April 4th. This is free to all those who wish to attend.
We will be having a “mini” car show as usual with the Spring AutoFair. Lowe’s gives us four trophies free of charge. This is not the Z Jam. We will be having our Z Jam Car show during the Fall AutoFair later this year.
Spring AutoFair is a great opportunity to participate with the Carolina Z Club and your fellow members. We currently have 8 of the 15 slots filled. (We will) prefer to fill all the slots with our club members. I will be holding slots to be filled by our club members till 3/20/09. After that date, I will need to open it to anyone and will notify other clubs of any openings we have left, if any. So, get your reservation in to me by email now.
The Lowe’s motor speedway provides each car a pass to park with us and show our cars at our reserved spot. We will be showing off our cars and roaming the speedway looking at cars and visiting venders and displays all day. Lowe’s also gives us two passes per car for entry into the speedway for driver and a “friend”.
Lowe’s does ask each club to be in place at the speedway by no later than 7:30 AM before they open the doors to the public. They also ask that we stay till 6 PM if at all possible. Lowe’s gives us the trophies, parking, and two passes per car all FREE. They only ask that we stay the day to give all paying attendees the chance to see all the great cars.
I will be sending instructions the weekend before the AutoFair to all participants. Hope you are one of them! It is a great time and “car” event!"

Yea that was my baby lol. Shes still there will probably be there during the meet also. Bobby is also going to Retune her.
re-tune? know Bobby has been talking about the UpRev/Osiris set up for the shop - will you be one of his 1st victims?
I will eventually be another of those victims as well. My stuff is NA, and we will see how much of an improvement that a custom tune can make. Currently it has a canned Cobb Stage2+ map in it, and with that and just bolt ons it pulled 268HP/250TRQ. Not too bad for Japanese Luxury car with out some sort of fan under the hood.
Although many do it, I'm not fond of FI at the track. 2 reasons (other than I don't got it) 1st - I have demonstrated I am too tempted to push the boost and it inteferes with the important part of the exercise - although I do tire of the Corvettes and Porches pulling away so handily on the straights, but on the other hand, they confess to tiring of towing the "Infiniti trailer" in the turns...... but second, it is more stuff to service, and during the summer months you have to pay attention to keeping the car cooled. Or stuff breaks.
With the car NA, I just beat the whizpiss out of it and don't sweat it.
I may end up with a built motor tho... Bobby got some stuff lyin around... just no hair dryers stuck on it! The no replacement for displacement program.

Right now him and other guy (dont remeber his name) are going to tune my car with the utec that I already have on it. Its already got a tune on it right now but now since the trans is built we want to retune it.
And in a few month im going to swap out the utec and go for something better Bobby and I are going to sit down and figure who is the best to go with to use. I love FI!!
