Has anyone had to replace their airbag module. I am having a nightmare and I can't wake up. I bought this 03 g35 with only 50k miles on it. The carfax report showed it was a one owner vehicle and no wreck history. Well once I bought the vehicle the airbag light came on. I took it to the dealership and they told me it had been in a wreck and need the right curtain airback replaced. The quoted me $1200 to replace the airbag and reset the module. I ended up taking the car to a body shop and they replace the airbag for less but I still had to take it to the dealer to have the module rest. Well the dealer then tell me the module is not responding and it needs replaced. They want $1200 to replace the module. So now I am thinking they just want some money since I did not take the vehicle to them to replace the airbag. What should I do? Is there anywhere in the Charlotte NC region I can take the car to have this look at to get a 2nd opinion? Any help would be appreciated. I attached a picture of the car.
