Surfer and I were over there about two weeks. We had about 15 G's Z's and Maxima's. Pretty good time. The weekend of the 20th some of us are heading to Myrtle Beach if anyone is interested.

Hey Hey! I'm not new to Charlotte, but I am new to having a G. It's an '03 and stock for now, but I'm hoping to make some changes along the way here soon. I'm totally down for hanging out sometime too; it would be totally fun! Also, I could be blind, but I haven't seen any females replying on this...but here's one! haha

Yes - no matter what spend on your ride, there is absolutely nuthin' hotter than a G with a lady's name on the title.
At least, that is what I tell me Wife!!

Your car opens you to not only the G community, but all of the Nissan/Infiniti performance platforms. Locally there is the Carolina Z Club they have a pretty large G35/G37 contingent (and a few Women owners as well) many members own both G35s/G37s as well as the various Z Cars that share the same performance DNA.

In addition, the largest East Coast Z/G/GT-R/Skyline meet is right around the corner. Come to ZDayZ , Fontana Village-Deals Gap @ The Tail of the Dragon - May 20th-23rd.

There is a large Infiniti G presence at this NATIONAL event, and many who can't make it up during the week drive in from the Up State and Charlotte area early late Fri. or Sat. morning.
Last year there were over 400 attendees and nearly 300 cars. There appears to be some lodging left on site so far this year.

Nissan sponsors the car show on Sat. this year, and amongst other activities...... Injected Performance is managing a massive Cornhole Tournament, Z1 Motorsports is hosting a Friday night lawn party, and AMS is putting on a "High Octane Bash" in the rec. center on Sat. night.

If you check out www.zdayz.com you'll see this national Z&G car event is actually sponsored by everyone from Nissan, to the performance shops of the area (CIN Motorsports in CLT is one) to the Z, G & Skyline clubs of the Eastern half of the US.

 

RANDOM UPDATE: Just wanted to update Charlotte quickly on my progress. This weekend I will be installing my coils, front and rear SPC camber kits, rolling fenders, getting new tires (or wheels if someone wants mine) and then figuring out whether I'm going k2 or nismo front. Then I will be dressing up under the hood over the next couple of months. I'm also considering painting my projectors to match my black grill. Pictures attached of my car as it stands right now (350z htechs with 350z struts - will be for sale). Sorry for sh!tty camera phone pics...

When this drop gets done I'll feel I can take my G out to some meets finally and meet some of you guys. Too bad I couldn't get this done before Zdays...
