We are well. We evacuated to San Antonio about 40 miles north and 20 miles east of Tampa. We got no damage and virtually no wind or rain. I hope everybody that was effected can recover quickly.

 

is it just me or is Texas just a bit extreme of an evacuation???

Anyways, my neighborhood got hit kinda bad but luckily i only have one tree and it was fairly young...the top of it broke off and got wedged in the neighbor's bushes and its too heavy to move so the owner will have to come with a chainsaw

We got power back about 9pm on Sat night and driving around it seems lots of people around here still dont have any....its weird and sporatic who has power and who doesnt. Hope everyone else got away unskaved.

Deammm! 'Hope everything else is alright for you. I feel lucky that Charlie didn't hit SE Florida. Irene (1999) was the closest one I've encountered, so far, and I hope it stays that way! It flooded our streets and knocked out power for a day or two, but that was the extent of it.

Looks like Orlando got hit pretty good too huh. I left for Virginia on Friday and drove in the rain for 10 hours. Came back on Sunday and drove in the raing for 8 of 10 hours.

Damnit! Why won't TOWER show up to any of our events?

OK, I'll lay it on the line. I'll buy TOWER dinner this Friday night if he graces the Central Florida G35 Driver meet. That's right, you can go to the drag strip, have dinner and drinks, or whatever the night entails. You show up and tag along and I'll buy dinner... waddayathink?

This Friday has to be on the east side because we have people from Tampa that want to go to the track. If it's open. Still need to check.
