I just found this thread randomly. Did you guys ever meet up?

My name is Samir and I own and operate Huntsville Car Scene. There's a cruise to Little River Canyon that a bunch of people from our area are planning on going to that you guys might enjoy. Here's a link to more info on it:

I don't own a G35, but I helped a friend in California buy one. Love the car. It's on my list of cars to get before I die.

For some reason the 89 Mustang Coupe in your signature was telling me I knew you. The Sedan is pretty fun, isn't it? Doesn't feel that large for a car that big.

The one I helped my friend get was I believe a 02 that was the fully loaded trim with the seats in the back that reclined.

Yeah, its really fun in turns. I plan on driving it on the cruise in a couple of weeks. I got the awd version also.

I loved driving my friend's until he gave it to his wife. But then we're in his trust 92 Accord which I also helped him find. Yep, I remember the G35x. Does the awd hamper the power a bit and make aftermarket stuff harder to find?

Not at all, it allows me to push it more in turns cause it is actively applying torque to each wheel. As far as after market, its not to hard to find parts.

Oh yeah, awd is awesome when done correctly. There's some Subaru guys that plan to come on the cruise, so you wouldn't be the only awd car there.

This was just posted, but I don't know if it's going to be final.

Quote: I'm thinking meet around 9 and head out about 9:15 or so. Lets just plan to meet at the wal-mart on sparkman, thats next the sparkman/pkwy intersection. Havn't heard anyplace else mentioned and that's pretty close to jump on 72. You can add one more to this list of muscle going. Curtis in the tempest is also going with us.
