I'm glad we are keeping this on the Southeast forum...can you imagine how everyone on the main forum would respond to our little trip on 540!

Re: Raleigh G35 Meet

I think in the Coupe forum this thread would already be long gone. Hey Anthony, why don't you run over another dog to give folks something to talk about?

Re: Raleigh G35 Meet

I wish I had tailed you guys on 540, but thats the opposite neck of the woods for me (Durhamite).

I was also feelin' a little brazen on the trip home. As I took a left onto 55N at the 54/55 intersection, I weaved a little in traffic, just to nearly kiss the bumper of a Durham Black & White. My heart just about pounded out of my chest. But he was pretty cool and just gave me that 'knowing' nod, like slow it down son.

BTW, I ftped my pics to Devin. There is also a little vid of all you guys spinnin' out of the lot. You can distinctly hear Steve's TT take off to.

Re: Raleigh G35 Meet

Hey Zim how about I run over the owner this time!

Ox, I bet you needed "depends" after that one.

I was on 9th street at Georges garage, me and some of my fraternity brothers got into a argument with each other because one of the younger ones poured beer all over a chick for no reason.

So while we were in the street this nosy group of drunk chicks pulls out of the parking lot looking at us (on her left) and rear ends a parked black and white (making a right) so hard it could have taken off his bumper.

Obviously that was enough to make us laugh and forget about everything.

Re: Raleigh G35 Meet

I almost shot past an unmarked Trooper on Glenwood last night at full throttle. I was turning on to Glenwood and decided to give it a little gas but I though I saw a G go by and I let off the gas to turn and get a glimpse(just enough to lose track of what I was doing but to remember that I was driving a little spirited. As I looked back ahead of me I noticed that I was rapidly approaching a Crown VIC with an SHPXXX tag And sure enough it was a trooper. I had achieved 0 to 45 at WOT and by now was at @ 55. But I was like a deer in headlights for about a second or two until thankfully I noticed that I had not allowed it to get too out of hand. He turned off as I drifted by. I didn't want to slam on the brakes and make myself look too obvious...ya know.

Re: Raleigh G35 Meet

Kahboom, i think i saw ya on Glenwood yesterday(thursday) around hmm...6:30?? you crossed the intersection before Lynn road. I was at the light. It was a good feelign...to see another G and say to myself...wow i know that guy

As for stories....this guy in a 95' silver M3, with really blue angel eyes came hauling *** behind me last night....then i got into the next lane and shifted to 3rd....he had nothing on me, took it all the way to 110 in a 45. Stupid right? especially on hwy 70, but it was fun.
then right after that....damn stock civic coupe revved his 1.6 liter Veetek engine at me...hehe...i didnt even waste gas on that one.

enough for today...stay tuned for more.

Re: Raleigh G35 Meet

Thanks for hosting that stuff... We'll have to have our next meet a bit earlier in the day so we can get some shots with better lighting.

BTW, the video link on your web site appears to be incorrect.
