This is welcome to anyone who wants to dyno. This is an extension of the CFL thread for dyno'ing. Some guys would like to do this sooner than Christmas, for those guys....

Ok checked with both places. The place with the Mustang dyno and the more experience tuner for Z's and G's will charge us $50 for 3 pulls with wideband. He's a real cool guy, and might be the better of the two shops for us. The other guy wants to charge $120 for the first hour and $60 for each additional hour. All runs with wideband. The cool thing about the latter is the guys allow you to drive your car on the dyno. If you've never driven 90+mph standing still it might be a cool experience in itself for you. I'm starting a list because these guys won't tell me their deal price unless I can give them a number.

I'm going to call and set it up on Monday. I'll tell him atleast 6 people are coming. He'll do weighted or inertia. If you want to try weighted, make sure you figure your weight before you come.

Do we HAVE to drive? Does the place have a vehicle scale?

Also, I noticed that this place should have a time, date, place and directions (i.e. a hyperlink to mapquest) or atleast the address and phone number of the place. There's a good chance that I'll make it, as I've been looking to do a run on a mustang dyno...

 

You don't have to drive. I don't believe they have a scale.

Sweet. I am having severe issues with my VIAS and hope a few pulls on the dyno will tell me something. I believe my VIAS has failed and according to others with this problem, I should be down to almost 165hp. I am very interested in doing this though.
