HIN Site For those of you that don't know the Hot Import Nights show will be in Miami Beach on Dec.11 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Tickets are on sale $25+$2.50 convenience fee. This would be a great chance for us to have a big group (Jax, Orlando, Tampa and anybody else) drive to Miami. Riande Continental South Beach Hotel is located .33 miles from Miami Beach Convention Center. This seems to be very reasonably priced and close to the convention center. Hopefully someone in the Miami G group can give us their opinion of the hotel. Who would be intersted in driving down Friday and coming back Sunday???

The Riande is the Panamian place on Collins, if I remember correctly. I used to live in that area, but I've never stayed there so I really can't help with feedback. You should be able to find plenty of decent places on South Beach where you can spend the weekend at. And while you're in Miami, might we be able to arrange a little meet? Since we down here are way too unorganized to get together even once, having a few Orlando Gs visiting might help [img]/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/img]

 

Meeting up sounds good as long as enough people commit to make the drive. Can you work on trying to organize the Miami crew and a meeting place?

 

I will try my best, in fact I suppose a meet is due sometime soon anyway. I know there are tons of U of M / S. Miami area Gs on here and I doubt they would mind driving out to the beach.

 

I'll start trying to find us a hook up on the tickets. Every year I've seen all kinds of discounts but I never went to the show... so now that I'm gonna go, they will probably be full price heh. Anyhow, I'd be in: hopefully driving MY car, wouldn't that be a treat.

 

Hmm, I have yet to go to a HIN event, but I think this might be the year. Count me in!

Can there be at least 5 of you that enter in the show ??? I know of at least two other Gs that will be in the show, but in order for them to actually have an "INFINITI" prize, there has to be at least about 5 infinite's entered. Registration is $50 and you get 2 VIP passes which are way better than the normal tickets b/c you can come and go.... I am begging for some people to enter, it is a great experience, I PROMISE!!!!

That's my luck, I'm pretty sure I will have to pass up the HIN itself, but at least I have a good excuse :P

On another note, let's get the ball rolling for the next Miami meet. I guess it'd be a good idea to have it somewhere around the beach because apparently Kendall is too far for some and Aventura - for others.
