Where can I find a good garage in Raleigh?
Where can I find a good garage in Raleigh?
I just moved from SoCal to NC recently. in socal, there were shops galore. i live in fayetteville now, and i was wondering if anybody knew of a place to get some serious, but good work done... like a crank pulley, or an e-fan upgrade?
Re: Where can I find a good garage in Raleigh?
I live in Chapel Hill. Also looking for good garage in RTP area... Any natives around these parts with modded Gs?
This is what I have planned (and need installer that has worked on a G35 before - and did a good job):
- Touchscreen from www.digitalwheelz.com to connect to pc in trunk (for mp3/gps/vehicle diagnostics - btw anyone with info on accessing OBD for g35?).
- Ceramic film window tinting (mostly so lcd screen will remain visible)
- New amp + eq (with stealth subwoofer if possible)
- Definitely eyeing supercharger mod (but not till I get to at least 10k miles and see how it feels)

Re: Where can I find a good garage in Raleigh?
Glad to see to more guys in the Raleigh area!! You guys will have to try and make it to are next meet!!! I'm Having Crawford headers, Crawford CATS and the Crank pulley's installed next weekend. I'm using a local guy that does work on the side. I will let you know how he does! There is also a local place called RPM (Ryan's Perfomance Machines) 919-872-1171. You can try them. They seem to be very good on the tech stuff just do not know about there wrench turning ablity. However, I did just see there work on a 350z that they spent 15g on 400+HP and it was very nice!! I'm also putting on Crawfords Plenum and a CAT back exhaust (custom). As far as Audio mods that is up in the air?? I do not know if RPM does that stuff or not?? Send me your e-mail addresses and I will put you guys on are e-mail list.

Re: Where can I find a good garage in Raleigh?
I have had literally thousands of dollars of tuning and performance installation work done at Eurospeed Performance in Cary (919-858-8852). Alex is great to work with, charges a fair price (rather than charging a book rate of x number of hours like the dealer does), and stands by his work.
