In CLT, Upstate SC? Western NC. Check out the Carolina Z Club [ www.carolinazclub.com ]. It is open to all Nissan Motorsport DNA platforms. Our cars definitely fall in that category. The club embraces the Datsun Fairlady Z Roadsters, all Z Car platforms, GT-Rs and Infiniti G35 & G37s (mostly coupes, but a sedan as well ).
Ya'll do know that both Bobby & Ben at CIN are members, right?
Most of the organizers from the ZDayZ event come from this car club and they have their annual ZJam car show Lowes Motorspeedway at the AutoFair this September.
Is your stuff worthy? My G won 1st place in class last year - I beat out 2 GT-Rs! For sure yours is hotter than mine? See the Carolina Z Club website and sign up. Is cheap, and you get to spend the day at Autofair for nothing.
Best part, is there are many impromptu & informal meets organized thru the various members of the club, some brand specific (like G35s) some with other clubs (like the Lotus & Mustang clubs) some sport specific (like trips to hang out at road course race days) as well as events to try out your car on the drag strip, etc. A saturday drive on some fine mountain road is as common occurance. The "club members only" part of the club website promotes that sort of lets-get-together-and-do-something communication that is kind of clunky in the forums. Nothing formal, lets just get out and enjoy our cars, show the world just how awesome a G can be!.
Normally the formal club meet is the 1st monday of each month @ 7PM. Victory Lane Karting provides us a 1st class room for that (@ I-85 & I-77), but spring/summer/fall most meets we are going somewhere else. I think w/ the 1st Monday in September being labor day we'll probably cruise to a Knights game the week before. Check out www.carolinazclub.com for details.

I would definitely want to meet, but it's super last minute. Give us a minimal of one week.
