im located in Miami and interested in going, how long is the drive to markham park?

 

Depends where you are in Miami, its all the way west on 595 a few miles before i-75. Just take the turnpike or i-95 to 595 and head west. I dont know the exact exit # but i will post it up. Also for the people up North ( Boca, WPB ) i plan on meeting again at the Mall on the North side of Sears ( please use your compass or look for the G's ) around 1130-1145 ( please be on time ). For those of you i dont know please post where you are coming from and if your interested in meeeting up somewhere. It was pretty bad *** having 7 G's drivin down to the meet last time!

If you wanna ride up I'm up for it, and yeah last time we stayed there from 12 till like 3 or 4 and most people come a little late anyway. Same place, same time on the 23rd also, but we'll probably go to the other side of the park, get a table and sit down instead of standing up for 3 hours like last time.

Now I know what you mean about SFL members not have enough enthusiasm. I echo CR8IV's disappointment.

 

my bad guys i truely didnt think ANYONE was gunna show up infact all i got from 5-10 people was reasons why they COULDNT come! i really wish you all would have posted some more and let people know there was gunna be some turnout at this meet. PEOPLE, this cannot ever happen again! This just gave the FGC a major black eye!!!

What people do not realize is that this is HURTING the FGC and I will not stand for this! Even though the club is still only 1 month old, we have 49 members, 15 from SFL, and our members set up meets and then don't go... They never officially call off the meet and this makes the club look really bad! There was banter back and forth about going, football, not going, maybe going, etc... but no one officially called off the meet and apparently 7 people showed up (for what would have been the 3rd largest SFL meet in 12 months) and those people never all got together.

On top of that we get 5 G's who are not involved in the club to turn out, this is 5 more potential club members mind you, and they get shafted. I'm really disappointed at how this all went down and feel somewhat responsible even though I had nothing to do with this.

I can promise you that if there was already a SFL Chapter of the FGC established and this type of thing happened, those 3 Board Of Directors would see a side of Neffster that you would not like! GUARANTEED!!!

I knew there was a reason why I didn't move this post into the FGC Forum yesterday. I just had a bad feeling...
