I am a part of OZOC (Orlando Z Owners Club) as some of you might know. I have been asked multiple times and offered many invites to you guys to come out to there meets. They want your participation!!! They have officially started a club not as dynamic as the Central Florida G Club, but more of an Orlando crew. I have been asked to be the "G35" liason for them and in doing that, I am coming to you guys.

Basically, there is an upfront fee of $10, this is to maintain the www.ozoc.org website for 2 years. Any other fees will be paid at the members discretion and not mandatory. There is currently three sects of OZOC. The 350z (Z33), G35, and Z32. The first big meeting is this coming Saturday night at Publix on E. Colonial & Mills. Please attend and show your support or come out to meet the great people out there. Even if you do not want to join, it is worth it to come out. Time is about 10:30pm. I would appreciate any feedback and let me know if you plan to attend. Thanks guys!!!

 

I'd be there if they would meet up earlier. I've said this before to Rich in PM's, but they are a "later crowd" than I, and Sunday morning rolls around too early if the night doesn't start before 10:30pm.

Also, The Florida G35 Club (FGC) is helping support the Orlando Z Owners Club (OZOC) with generating sponsors for them and the like. It "might not be prudent" for them to solicit our club members when we are in the process of becoming a LEGITIMATE, LEGAL, NOT FOR PROFIT CORPORATION. Maybe OZOC should stay a Z owners club since there are many "Z" meets that the G owners CANNOT participate in (this is out of OZOC's control so don't think they want it this way). Z-Fest immediately comes to mind as a main attraction that a G Owner will not be allowed to participate in. OZOC will be competing in Z-Fest, but any member of their club with a G35 CANNOT! Again, these aren't OZOC's rules, just something that would "EXCLUDE" their own members. This is something that I'm trying VERY HARD not to do with FGC. (Sedan owners should be happy ). This is one reason why I'm not recruiting 350Z owners to FGC.

I recommend that the people on THIS FORUM support FGC and together FGC and OZOC can peacefully and happily co-exist. I plan on scheduling a "support rally" for OZOC and having us all show up at Z-Fest at the end of February to support Orlando in the big South East Z show.

BTW Josh, when do you plan on joining FGC? I know you said that you were planning on joining, but was expecting you to be a part in what we're doing here if we were to consider the possibility of future car show advertising, etc...
