Guys, G8tor20 is going to be in town from Ocala and wants to hook up with us on Friday night. I'd like to suggest that we all go out to a local eating establishment (maybe Bennegins off of University Blvd.) around 5pm and then head up to Trick Shots in Waterford Lakes.

For those of you who don't know, G8tor20 and I have been talking about the 501c7 (formerly referred to as llc) for the club. He is a lawyer who's donating his time for FREE and I think we should all attempt to welcome him to the group and thank him for all he's doing for The Florida G35 Club!

So who wants to meet up at 5pm? Dining establishment can be changed should everyone want to choose another location...

Hey Neff or any member of the Orlando G35 crew, is there a good tint place in Orlando? I was going to get my scratch fixed by Richard this weekend, but he may not be able to get to it. So, I might as well get my tint done. I'd rather trust someone who has actually done a G35 coupe before (which rules out all the shops in Ocala). I'm also wanting it darker than 35%. Any shops you know that could help me out? Thanks

 

FLFIRE has a good huber optik (sp?) tint job. Maybe he could help you out. My tint job is just so-so and if I had it to do over with again I'd go where he went.

 

I have read about huber optik. It seems to be the best, however, it only goes down to 30%. i think. I was looking somewhere around 20%, maybe a little higher...but not sure about 30%. Maybe I'll just wait to see it in person this weekend, if possible.

The Huper 30% is DARK!!! It is much darker than Llumar or 3M 30%. Remember the 30% is the amount of light that the tint allows to pass through it, not how dark the tint actually is. Huper is a ceramic material which is different than what I have on my G.

i have a guy in green cove springs outside of jax, that did mine and a couple peoples up there. he does an awesome job and will do whatever you want. and does it pretty cheap for us. let me know and ill give you his info and stuff.

 

OK. Since everyone else is talking about window tinting, I'll set the meet up. This Friday at 5pm we'll all meet at Bennegins on University Blvd. This is about 2 miles from the LaQuinta Inn on 434 that I told you about g8tor20. From there we can head out to a local pool place unless we have a "change of plans" that evening.

Boy this forum is slow today. After Bennegins we can shoot pool, play darts, hang out, come to my house and play poker, whatever.

I would like to spend an hour or two and have the group be able to talk to Jason and let him get to know us a little better since he's doing so much to help our club!

Basically it's up to the group as to what we do. As long as most everyone is happy I'm fine with it.

 

I hope a lot of you guys can make it as I am looking forward to finally meeting you guys. I don't know if I can make it a 5:00 at Bennigans as my Seminar doesn't get out until then...and I am on I-drive. It may be closer to 6:00. Neff, I'll call you sometime before then and let you know for sure.

 

We better not tell Jeremy if we're playing poker the way he was talking the other night he's likely to go home with everyone's money.
g8tor20-If your seminar doesn't get out until 5:00 and it's on I drive you should make it there by 6:00. So Neff the new meeting time will be 6:00 to give him enough time to get there.
