Atlanta, GA Infiniti Shops
I recently took my out of warranty 2008 G35 into Infiniti dealer and they want $130/issue to check my problems out. I was wondering if any of you knew of any shops in the area that knew what they were talking about when it came to Infiniti.
I searched the forums before I posted this and could not find anything.
Thanks

these guys are fairly close. though if you don't plan on diagnosing/fixing any of the cars problem yourself then most the time you will have to pay to find stuff out since you have no more warranty. but these guys are really good

keep in mind CEL's can be read at local auto parts stores for usually no fee, itll provide you with a trouble code number in which you can then research and figure out what might be the issue

I can vouch for Z1 as well. I always take my car there. I live in Sandy Springs and its well worth the drive out there. They are very knowledgable and professional.
I have also heard good things about fast lane auto. I called them up to see how much a belt change would be and got a high price so I went out to Z1 lol.

I can vouch for Z1 too. I haven't had work done there but I have bought parts from them and been to their shop. They are pretty knowledgeable about nissan vehicles. Your issues could been related to a number of things. Off the top of my head it seems that you might have a wire grounding out somewhere. Very vague I know but alot of times that can be the first thing that will come out of a mechanics mouth when diagnosing a battery draining problem.
That or a bad alternator. Your door lock issue could be related to the battery drainage problem. The battery is getting so drained that it cannot unlock or lock the doors. Or their is a wire from the door lock mechanism grounding out. I haven't pulled apart the door panel so I haven't personally looked to see if that is a real possibility. If you have done any type of mods where you had to move wires or unbolt them you might want to start there. Good luck.
